Jesus Can Use Anyone
In Mark 3:13–19, Jesus goes up on the mountain and calls the twelve apostles. These were not impressive, polished, perfect men — they were ordinary people with ordinary weaknesses. But Jesus called them to Himself, appointed them to be with Him, and sent them out to preach with His authority.
In this message from The Gospel According to Mark, Pastor Jamin reminds us that the call of Jesus always begins with grace. Jesus calls first, and we respond. Before we go out and do anything for Him, we are first called to be with Him. From fishermen to tax collectors, from bold leaders to quiet servants, Jesus used ordinary people to change the world with the gospel.
This sermon asks a simple but important question: Is Jesus calling you? Maybe He is calling you to know Him, to be closer to Him, or to share Him with others. As followers of Jesus, we are called to walk as disciples and ambassadors of Christ, sharing the message of reconciliation with a world that needs hope.
This service also included a baptism celebration and a prayer over the Zambia mission team.
